Slander (libel really since it is in print.
Foolish and impulsive defense of it.
Cowardice by not ruling on the charge, just wanting the subject changed.
Starting to shake dust from my sandals, no sense talking to you about political subjects if you allow his slander to remain. |

Really?? ooooh. Banned on what grounds, asserting my right not to be "flamed" the really gay term used by "forumati" that means provoked, insulted.
I explained to him and Mr. Quick and impulsive "immoderator" (he is immoderate by refusing to listen to a legitimate complaint).
Spell out exactly why no poster here cannot insist that a moderator hear out their complaint and stop making me the subject and go back to my original, valid complaint.
Or should I retype it?
Oy gevalt. Meshuggenah protestants. |

|

summa errata:
1. The offense was posted first by Small Town Guy. So I am responding to his spam: it is spam because there is no need to bring his personal, incorrect term for my Church to this board.
2. Having just convinced you that the conflagration was started by him, I'd like to point out that my argument is airtight, and backed by oh, about 2,009 years of documents.
3. Your moderator did not do his job and owes me an apology for telling me to chill. I guess double standards abound when a protestant can insult my church (we always considered a demeaning slur) but I can't respond.
4. Then another moderator sweeps in and accuses me of inappropriate behaviour. That's rich.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are so out of line and as wrong as stg and CCH. If you are not defending my absolute right to correct him, point out that is not only innacurate but a slur then you are part of the problem, not the solution.
I demand the right to make a cogent, logical appeal to a moderator the same as anyone else here can.
Will you grant me that or should I take my argument to Jim Hnatiuk and get your names before the party, spelling out in a letter the little cabal you appear to have here?
Or if Jim and others leave the forum to its own devices and don't get involved is there an administrator I can forward my still ignored appeal to?
Not dropping it just because you tell me I can be banned for the baseless reason of responding to another's spam/flame/malarky. |
Jesuitical,
I apologize for calling your church a Roman Catholic Church and withdraw any remarks I made to you which you find offensive. |
Thank you for apologising, smalltownguy. However, Jesuitical lost control of himself and posted some pretty nasty language.
We felt it best to terminate his membership on the forum.
Regards
Now I was going to say something about this actual topic before this all started and I just remembered what it was.
Welcome to Canadian Viewpoints, mommycica.
$25 for a registration fee that covers continental breakfast and lunch is a good price point. I hope the turn out is like the sands of the sea.  _________________ CCHeritage.ca The Only Web Site Dedicated to Canada's Christian Heritage |
Thank you for reminding people that the topic actually is about the Family Coalition Party of Ontario Leadership Convention on October 24, 2009.
We are also hoping for a good turnout.
Time will tell
Also both FCP and CHP both try to uphold the Preamble of the Canadian Constitution declaring the Supremacy of God and the Rule of Law as the foundation upon Canada was founded.
The FCP is trying to make a difference in Ontario provincial politics and overcome the lukewarm attitude and apathy of people who should be most concerned with the direction Ontario has taken against life, freedom and faith in the supremacy of God. You cannot reject the worthy principles upon which Canada was founded and replace God with mandated secularism.
So what would a good Leader be like, and do, to achieve these ends?
What do you think?  |
I think s/he first will have to fix up any fractures in the FCP and supporting networks. If those are left then it's not a good foundation to try to build on.
After that, s/he will have to come up with something different which will enthuse Ontarians.... something they really want to get behind. _________________
